Mitak makes parts for a range of mining applications, which can be categorised as follows:
Slurry Pumps
Mitak employs innovative technologies in the manufacture of slurry pump spares to provide most of the leading OEMs with world class and cost-effective supply. This service is enhanced by the fact that Mitak handles the entire manufacturing process from pattern design and manufacture through to final packing and shipping to any global destination.
Mitak is well placed to benefit from the recent growth in demand for large mill discharge pumps and is able to manufacture pump parts of up to 18 tons. The largest impellers Mitak has produced are 12 tons in mass. Like all impellers, these were supplied rotationally balanced.
Cyclones
Mitak is well known for the castings it manufactures for use in dense medium separators. These are highly wear-resistant and offer a far superior impact resistance to those lined with ceramics.
Tube Mill Liners
Mitak have developed a range of alloys for the liners used in wet and dry tube mills. The scope of materials offers mining customers linings for a wide variety of fully and semi-autogenous mills.
Chute Linings
Mitak has manufactured chute liners and feed tubes that consistently outperform rivals’ products – not just in terms of wear life, but also ease of handling and accuracy of fitment.
